Milkman

You put your truck in park and turn off the ignition. You're running late today so you hurry out of your truck and hop down onto the asphalt. [[Turn Around]]

Turning around and looking up you see a worn wooden sign above the double doors of the building in front of you. The sign reads **McGraw Dairy**. [[Enter->Title]]

"Hey Gary, I thought you were already on your route," you hear upon entry. It's Todd. You never liked Todd. [[Greet Todd]] [[Scold Todd]]

"Running late." "Yeah I see that," Todd replies. "Shut up, Todd," you shout back. [[Prepare Deliveries]]

"Shut up, Todd. I leave when I want to." "I really thought you'd be gone by now," He replies nervously. [[Prepare Deliveries]]

You go into the walk-in fridge and move many wire carriers full of milk bottles to your truck. [[Leave]] [[Throw a Bottle at Todd]]

You head towards the door to leave. As you're leaving Todd yells, "See you later!" "Yeah, I'll see you in (colour:red+orange)[hell]," you snap back before leaving. You hop back into your truck and start the ignition. [[Drive]]

Todd notices the throw and catches it before it could hit him. "Nice try, Gary. Not gonna work on me this time," He mutters, ending with a half-hearted laugh. You grunt and leave the building. [[Drive]]

You drive to your first delivery of the day. You know the route well. The first stop is Mrs. Mabel, a sweet old lady. You pull up to her house. A comfortable ranch home with a long driveway. [[Exit Truck]]

You get out of your truck and get a rack of milk from the back. You walk up to Mrs. Mabel's door and give a knock. The door wasn't fully shut and swings open. From the front door you can see a lamp knocked over and shattered vase on the floor. [[Yell for Mrs. Mabel]] [[Go Inside]]

"Hello? Mrs. Mabel? You alright?" you shout into the home. There's no response. [[Go Inside]]

You enter the house and hear crunching as you step over broken glass. You creep around the corner into the hallway and are stunned by what you see. Mrs. Mabel on the floor, blood pooling underneath her. There's a large gash on the side of her head. A broken bottle lays beside her. Looking around the room, you notice a couple potential clues. You see a pool of milk, spilled from the shattered bottle. Maybe you could take a sample back to the resident milk scientist back at **McGraw Dairy**. You also see a few black hairs scattered around. They aren't Mrs. Mabel's. You think you could take this to that one creepy old lady in town you think might be a witch. [[Milk]] [[Hair]]

You grab an empty milk bottle from your truck and get a little bit of the spilled milk into it. You call the cops and let them know what happened before heading back out to your truck. Based on that note you found you can tell someone wants to frame you. Now it's personal. [[Find the Scientist]]

You drive back to **McGraw Dairy** to meet up with the on-site milk scientist. He does most of his work in a large shed nearby. As you drive up to the shed you notice some strange lights coming from the cracks in the wooden shed. [[Enter Shed]]

You drive to the woods you think the old lady hangs around. You leave your truck on the side of the road and wander down a dirt path into the woods. You encounter a fork in the road ahead. [[Turn Left]] [[Turn Right]]

You take a left at the fork and keep walking. As you go you begin to see a thin veil of (text-style: "blur") [mist] appear in front of your eyes. Either this is the right way to go or you're about to be very lost. As you approach the source of the sound it gets louder. The bush the sound is coming from is now right in front of you. All the sound stops. Your heart feels like it's jumping out of it's chest. "I need to find out more about this person," you say as you hand her the hairs. She lets out a soft set of grunts and throws them into a large pot. Steam flows out of the cauldron begins to form a shape in the air above it. It shows the silouette of **McGraw Dairy**. "What? No! I'm being framed! It has to be somewhere else!" The steam changes shape into a man's face. It's Todd. "No way! No way that rat would do this!" you yell. The witch stares at you intently. As you back out of the witch's hut the witch grunts one last time at you. You look to see she is offering you a bottle with some sort of liquid inside that emits an intense (colour:red+white+purple)[(text-style:"smear") [pink glow]]. It has a small tag on it with a simple skull drawn on. You put it in your satchel for later. You make your way back through the woods. Luckily you remembered your way. You pull up to the dairy farm and hop out of your truck. You open up the back and see today's milk deliveries. [[Grab Milk Bottle]]

You get a good grip around the neck of the bottle and head inside. Todd isn't at his usual seat. "I knew you'd come for me, Gary," Todd declared from somewhere in the back of the building. Sounded like it could be in the kitchen. "You know what's coming to you, Todd. Come out and fight me, you coward!" You shout back while making your way toward the kitchen. [[Enter the Kitchen]]

You push on the door to the kitchen and enter. It swings shut behind you. Todd jumps up from behind the counter in front of you. He throws a knife at you and misses. It clangs on the wall behind you. [[Throw the Bottle->ThrowBottle]] [[Get Close and Hit Him->MeleeBottle]]

You throw the bottle of milk at him and he's struck directly in the face. It shatters into a million pieces. Todd falls to the ground behind the counter. A mix of blood and milk runs through the kitchen. [[Approach Todd]] [[Question Todd]]

You bash his head with the bottle and it shatters off his head. Milk and blood run down his face. Todd's able to smack your forearm causing what was left of the bottle to fly off into the corner of the room and explode into a bunch of tiny pieces. You go around the counter and Todd isn't there. In your moment of surprise, Todd sneaks up and whacks you with a pan. You catch yourself on the countertop in front of you. [[Disarm Todd]] [[Gut Punch Todd]]

You quickly reach into your satchel and grab the round bottle the witch gave you. You pull the cork off and dump it on Todd. "WHAT DID YOU DO?!" Todd shouts. The liquid spreads all across his body in waves. Todd lets out a blood-curdling scream. It begins to bubble on his skin as it wraps around him. A crackling noise becomes very loud as you approach. You push the large door open to see a wave of sparks flying from behind some junk in the shed. [["Hello?"]] [["Hey!"]]

You shout over the crackling sounds. The wave of sparks stops quickly. A gray-haired man pokes his head up from over the junk. "Gary, boy!" Mr. McGraw shouts back at you excitedly. "What can I do for you?" he continues. [[Explain]]

You hand him the bottle with a bit more than a drop of milk in it. "I need to find out more about this, where it's from," you explain. He thinks for a moment before his face lights up, "I've got just the thing!" he yelps. He leads you over to the junk you saw before. It's covered in a giant tarp. He gestures to you to remove the tarp. [[Remove Tarp]]

You rip the tarp off and find that underneath isn't just a big pile of junk. It's another milktruck. Mr. McGraw quickly shuffles inside. "Mr. McGraw, how does this help exact-?" you begin to ask while examining the vehicle. "Ah ah ah, I'm a Dr. now, boy," he interrupts. "And come inside and I'll show you!" [[Get in the Milktruck]]

You take a seat in the passengers side and can see that this is no ordinary milktruck. It's dashboard looks heavily modified with flashing lights, buttons, and switches. Dr. McGraw climbs into the back of the truck and pours the few drops of milk into some device connected to the truck. "Okay now push one of those buttons up there," he demands. "Which one, Doc?" you quickly ask in response. "Whatever you want! Just try one!" You see a big (colour:red)[(text-style:"smear") [red button]], a smaller (colour:orange)[(text-style:"blink") [blinking orange button]], and a large (colour:grey) [grey lever]. You pull on the big lever. The roof opens up and you both get launched into the ceiling of the shed. "I told you to push a button! In what world is that a button?" Dr. McGraw questions you. Dr. McGraw pushes past you before you can get out. You exit after him. He runs to a table in the shed. He raises a disconnected wall clock into the air. "IT WORKED!" He yells between laughs. "Doc, what worked?" you ask. "Time travel! We travelled back in time three hours! Look!" He shoves the clock in your face. You look down at your watch, it's ahead by three hours. Dr. McGraw hops out of the truck and you follow. You aren't in the shed anymore. You're in a dense jungle, sounds of nature are all around you. "Doc, is this right?" you ask nervously. Dr. McGraw takes a long time to respond, he's clearly deep in thought. "Doc!" you repeat. He looks up at you slowly. "I think I had that button programmed wrong." "Well what did you expect? I'm a dairy farmer turned scientist!" Dr. McGraw defended. "Oh well, I can use this. I can just go back to Mrs. Mabel's house and stop her murder," you hardly realized you said aloud. "What? You can't just change the timeline like that! It's already happened!" Mr. McGraw explained. "Well, what did you expect to do with the time machine then?!" "I didn't even think it would work!" [["Come with me, then!"]] [["I'm going whether you want me to or not!"]]

Dr. McGraw thinks for a moment. "We can consider this an experiment," he finally says. "Then let's go," you look at the milktruck time machine for a moment, "does that thing still drive?" [[Drive->Back to Mrs. Mabel's]]

You and Dr. McGraw drive the time machine back to Mrs. Mabel's house. You drive down the road a bit to park as to not raise any suspicion. You both get out and walk up to Mrs. Mabel's front door. The door is shut so the murder must not have happened yet. [[Knock]]

Mrs. Mabel opens the door, "oh hello Gary. You've got my milk for me?" she asks with a tremble in her voice. "Uh, no. Not yet. Do you mind if we come inside?" you respond. "Not at all, deary," she opens the door fully to invite you inside. [[Enter->Mrs. Mabel]]

"Listen, Mrs. Mabel. You're not going to understand, but we're trying to save your life," you try to explain. "I don't need saving, boys," she declared. "Yeah well you don't know what we know," Dr. McGraw interjects. "Oh, dear" she quavered. [[Wait for Killer]]

You and Dr. McGraw wait paitently behind the counter in the kitchen. You grab a kitchen knife. "Hey, you got nothing to worry about. I brought something for this," Dr. McGraw says as he gestures to a battered briefcase he brought with him. You give him a strange look. At that same moment you both hear a car pulling into the driveway. A minute later you hear some clicking at the door, it swings open. You hear the killer step inside. You pop up from behind the counter. You go to throw your knife and get a good look at the killer. "TODD?" you can't help but yell. Caught off guard, Todd turns to run out the door. You throw the knife into the back of his leg and he falls over. [[Approach Todd->Question Todd 3]]

"Why'd you do it, Todd?" you yell, filled with rage. "I didn't do anything yet!" Todd responds. "I don't care, I know what you're here to do," you forgot you're in the past. "Screw you, Gary. You're always such a dick," Todd snaps back at you. "Is that really what you're doing, getting back at me?" You ask. "Pretty much," Todd admits. You try to regain your balance. That bottle hit you way harder than you thought. You stumble back and catch yourself on the wall. Todd gets up and starts to run for the door, limping heavily. You try to block him with your hands and get them cut up in the process. You jump back and stumble into the wall behind you. Todd begins to rush you with the knife in hand. The wall behind Todd isn't there either, just a giant scorched hole. "Nice job, Doc!" you yell into the kitchen. "I think our work here is done, we need to get back!" he reminds you. You both jump through the giant scorched hole in the wall and run back to the time machine. Doc punches in some numbers and sends you back to your proper timeline. You take a look around the area. You hear a roar in the distance and see a small raptor run in the bushes in front of you. "Doc, you gotta be kidding me," you sigh. "I'm afraid I'm not" he responds. You look toward the nearby river and see a group of huge triceratops drinking from the water. You sneak up to the triceratops by crawling through the high grass. You crawl underneath one of them and attempt to milk it. It makes a loud screech and backs up. It looks mad. You wake up to a huge open cavern. A red glow is all around you. A large figure with horns stands before you. "Hello?" you ask sheepishly. "So why am I here exactly?" you ask less nervous this time. "You don't know do you," he responds. "Know what?" you continue. Satan looks at you with an irritated scowl. "So listen, Satan. I've got some unfinished business in the real world. I really should be getting back," you explain "What are you proposing, puny soul?" he questions as his voice booms around you. "Can I become a demon or something to go get revenge on someone?" you ask. Satan leans in close and gets a good look at you. "Yeah, why not? I'm short on staff anyways," he admits. Satan snaps his fingers with a spark of flame. You sprout dark webbed wings from your back and horns protrude from your forehead. He snaps his fingers again and a portal appears in front of you. You exit the portal and find yourself at Mrs. Mabel's. The door is swung wide open and Mrs. Mabel is dead on the ground. You use your demon powers to pull her soul from her body. Mrs. Mabel is now a ghostly figure floating in front of you. "Who did this to you, Mrs. Mabel?" you ask. She looks surprised to see you. "Well, it was that creepy guy from your dairy," she clarifies. You use your demon powers to pick up every bottle in the whole dairy. They all float in front of Todd. "What the hell?!" he yells as the bottles start launching themselves full speed at Todd. One by one, each bottle slingshots into Todd. Each one explodes into a million pieces on contact. Todd dies after the eighteenth bottle smashes into his head. You start several small flames around Todd. He tries to run for the front door. You start another fire there. He runs for the back door. You start spark even more. There's no escape for Todd. He's surrounded by flame in every direction. Smoke fills the entire dairy farm. He dies from serious burns all across his body. You grab Todd and use your demon wings to fly straight up through the roof of the dairy farm. "What the hell?!" Todd yells while trying to break away from you.
